ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

New computational technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI), in particular, are drastically changing the world, including our understanding of the concepts such as logic, reasoning, problem-solving, and planning, but also the very nature of creative processes. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to imagine any activity without a computer, and arts and creative industries are no exception.

Over the past decades, the field of AI has grown exponentially, encapsulating a wide range of phenomena and technical approaches, capturing and provoking interest from both philosophical and artistic perspectives.

Leon Dimitrios’ interest in the field of AI was sparked with him witnessing the profound changes computer technologies brought to the financial industry in the 1990s and early 2000s. Being an artist, he is interested in the possibility of achieving computational creativity within the AI, but also in other aspects of everyday life and especially in the ethical implications of such efforts.
